Indexable Tools
The Indexable tool is any cutting tool in which the cutting edge consists of a separate piece of material that is brazed, welded, or clamped onto a body made of another material. Indexable tools are rotating end- or side-cutting tools with one or more cutting edges and one or more straight or helical grooves for the passage of chips and the admission of coolant.
Cutting tool that is used to remove excess layer of material from the workpiece.
