Ethernet Cables
Ethernet cables are used in computer data networks, they consist of four balanced pairs with a characteristic impedance of around 100 ohms. Ethernet cables are classified in performance categories (Category 3 - 16MHz/100m, Category 7A - 1000MHz/100m), the conductors may be solid or stranded and the cable may be shielded (STP) or unshielded (UTP).
